台風崩れの温帯低気圧の影響で午後から小雨の予報の中、総勢10名（男6、女4）の参加を得て、JR初狩駅を出発した。1㎞も行かない中初狩宿跡にある芭蕉の句碑「山賊(やまがつ)のおとがいとずる葎(むぐら)かな」の前で写真を撮っていると、予想より早く雨に見舞われ、国道20号沿の狭い歩道を行くことの危険と車の水飛沫を浴びる恐れから、残念ながら中止にした。東久留米出発時に中止も考えたものの、決断が出来なかったことを反省すると共に、参加者にお詫びします。7月9日（月）に再度挑戦致します。　　部会長：東海俊孝記
