２月８日に亡くなられた大島さん８４歳を偲ぶ会が某氏邸で催されました。
１４名もの大勢を迎え入れていただき、釣果のワラサやヒラメ、ハタなど高級魚の刺身や、奥様、お嬢様の美味しい手料理を堪能しながら、ビール、日本酒、ウィスキー、ワインなどで同窓の仲間達との繋がりを満喫させていただきました。
旅先の「鐘の鳴る丘」で大合唱した「とんがり帽子」のハーモニカ伴奏や、在りし日々の数々の逸話で盛り上がりつつ、「早稲田の栄光」を４番まで斉唱してお見送りすることができました。
大島さん、また何れご一緒しましょう。
